TV (Local)
TDM
TDM has a total of two TV channels (Chinese and Portuguese). Programmes are mainly Cantonese ones with a few mandarin broadcast. Besides Macao, the coverage area also include Zhuhai, Zhongshan, HK ,Kowloon and New Territory.
MASTV
In March 2004 the Macau Government approved its satellite TV license,
and it formally began broadcasts in Taiwan and China. Currently it is
the only station in Macau with approval to broadcast into China and
abroad, while in Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan it has some influence on
satellite TV viewing.
LOTUSBTV
Currently it is the only specialty satellite channel in Macau to offer
news, finance, entertainment, local history, culture, and social
trends coverage. Lotus TV has put up a top-class headquarters
building in the Macau New Port's Dynasty area that covers over 28000
square feet, and has invested some $100 million MOP to acquire
advanced and complete high-definition production equipment and related
facilities. This makes it Macau's first HDTV production centre.
Radio (Local)
Macao Radio
Macao radio station has a total of two radio channels (Chinese and Portuguese).
Radio programmes are mainly Cantonese ones. Besides Macao region, they are also being broadcasted in Pearl River Delta and Guangdong province.
